  • 2022 NCAA Tournament Discussion

Thought I would start a thread just for discussion of the tournament. I have to be honest, without WSU in there I don't know how much I'll watch. Other than New Mexico St., what are some other teams we should be rooting for as Shocker fans? I will probably pull for Arkansas, I always liked TW.

      Michigan got in?

      Baylor's a 1 seed? Did I read that right?

I don't know who made it in and who didn't. I really don't care about the tournament at this point but I may take the time to watch Jans and company if I get the chance.

It's baseball/softball/soccer season now. Screw basketball.

Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.
Save Shocker Sports - A rallying cry

Michigan ... 17-14 Michigan ... 8-13 vs Q1/Q2 .... not only got in .. they weren't even one of the last 4 in. Big 10 bias is real.

Not to mention they lost their first b10 tournament game last Thursday. That should have sealed the deal.

I normally will argue until I'm blue in the face that a power 5 team with an equal resume to a non power 5 deserves to be in just because it makes for a better tourney imo...but I can't do it. Absolutely no rhyme or reason to have Michigan in.

                  Yep.

Who's to say Dayton couldn't beat Michigan, Indiana, Creighton, Texas Tech, Miami, Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Houston, Seton Hall or TCU?

Oh yeah, TCU beat the Chickens.

If you normally argue that, you are the problem.

Yep. Then they put San Fran vs. Murray State against each other to eliminate a potential smaller school cinderella. P!sses me off.

Because I prefer to watch better basketball with more talent?

I really really hate saying this, and it tastes like an old "Penny" on my tongue, but I gotta root for memphus.
With Houston soon taking that shiny AAC team in the final four last year with them to the B12 soon, I think it behooves (thanks 3G) us if the Penny Tigers go far. At least then, we might stay on the ESPN main channels when the 3 biotch programs leave. Jus sayin.

No offense, but, better talent? Probably (1-12 though?). Better basketball? Sez who?

Of all the bubble teams, I don't understand Michigan. Mediocre record, and were choking the last month. They were 2-7 vs. ranked teams. Combine that with the Wisconsin incident, and the NCAA had the opportunity to quietly punish Howard. I don't get it.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
