Wichita St. this year went 4 - 3 against the 5 teams they played this year who are in the Big Dance.

Won against #11 Seed Colorado (Neutral Court)
Lost to #9 Seed Alabama (Neutral Court)
Lost to #5 Seed Temple (Neutral Court)
Won against #6 Seed UNLV (in Wichita)
Lost to #8 Seed Creighton (in Wichita)
Won against #8 Seed Creighton (in Omaha)
Won against #13 Davidson (at Davidson)

Nothin' too interesting there...but thought the following is interesting...

In the First Round of the Tourney...
UNLV plays Colorado - We played both teams out-of-conference.
Alabama plays Creighton - We played both of those teams.

So 4 of our 6 opponents who are Dancin' this year will play against each other in the first round. Weird coincidence.

I believe we are decidedly better than Alabama or Temple at this point in the year. To the tune that we would win by 20 in a rematch, similar to the Creighton game. So I like them all being in.

Alabama is missing one of their best players, and Temple only has a shot to go far at this point if they have A10 officials giving them a 40-to-10 FT advantage in every game.

I agree. We were awful in PR and Bama minus Mitchell is not the same team. After watching us against Bama and Temple I really thought we were a bubble team at best this year with a third or fourth place MVC finish. Since then we have played very well.

Also, I believe that Alabama is the only team that has had a double digit LEAD on us all season. Anyone else know if I am forgetting anything?
