My only hope is that WSU basketball is not dead. And when I say that, I don't mean the coach and players. I mean the landscape of College BBall and WSU not being a part of the upper echelon because of re-alignment. The last 2 years, starting with the AAC tourney that was cancelled just feels like a gigantic kick to the grapes in terms of the fun of college BBall. I don't know how that comes back.

Horrible timing to be down in the dumps as far as a program. With that said, I think we made our bed when we dropped football.

Which why I don’t get too upset about losses any more. The college game has been almost ruined for me.

Didn't part of the pressure to give the gig to Brown was the players wanted it...now the players want to play for another coach...just not in Wichita. Nice job DB!

He lost some of my respect, after I saw that.

I am not too upset over that. If I remember correctly it was when they were on the run that brought them to 3 down.

It’s sad that I used to think Loyola was a joke. They are basically in the same spot we were prior to joining the American. Now they’re clearly in better shape than us. Didn’t they get a new coach too?

I said VERY early on in the season that TE was a cancer and I was right.
We just lost to a poorly coached BAD team......what does that say?
Fire IB asap I'd bet you could hire Kellen Marshal for $250K a year and
get a pretty good ass't (GM) as an advisor for next to nothing. Laugh,
but could it be worse than what we have now? Happy to see TE leave.

Actually, thinking about it. I bet everyone stays....I mean IB intentionally didn't recruit all season for next year because he wanted the guys to not feel like they are getting replaced.....whew....I feel better........ </eyeroll>

Wait a minute. We went from a coach who says recruiting is like shaving to one who doesn't want to recruit so players don't feel bad.
