Oh, but there's interesting things to gleen from it. While I said that there were 4 coaches that did vote for WSU in their top 25, there were also 2 coaches who didn't vote for KU in their top 25.....one being Shaka Smart (he had the Shocks as his #14).

The other one was the Boston College Steve Donohue coach who has WSU at #15

Interesting to look at the break down. 4 "coaches" didn't vote for WSU at all, but all voted for sCUm, one as high as 15 and another (Wojcik, Tulsa) at 13. Maybe I am glad he got fired. The St Joe's coach (who beat CU) had them 11th (WSU 13th).

Doesn't surprise me that the the quality teams who won their tournaments that were behind us, went ahead. Where might had we been had we won our tounament?

I think that's some of it. I see, as an example, that FSU moved from behind the Shockers to in front based on their tournament...

A couple of teams adding good wins in their tournaments made for some movement.

Unfortunately, this is probably more an indication that they (whoever picks time slots/channels) see upset potential than anything else. Time to keep proving people wrong.

I think they see us both as under-seeded and it's going to be a battle. Blowouts don't make good TV, but this could have been a Sweet 16 game had the brackets fallen different. Either way, I'm very happy with prime time CBS, I think we've (both) earned it.

The potential for it being a good game has everything to do with it. Is there even a question about the 1-16 and 2-15 (minus KU vs Detroit)? Those games are better off on the other channels.
