Since wichshock65 thinks that his business is way more important than talking about the mediocre Shockers with an in-over-his-head coach and less-than-stellar administration, he has tasked me with firing up this game thread. I take no responsibility for the bad karma that might be created by needing the substitute for the game thread starter...just in case the Shockers lay an egg and vigorously inhale against our foes from the Oil Capital of the World, thus making this thread an unsuccessful venture.

My God…can we just let the whole 3G thing be done?? He’s gone, he ain’t coming back, so why keep bringing this crap up? Just like players who aren’t here anymore. If they go somewhere else, OK. Cheer ‘em…jeer ‘em, I don’t care. But, they ain’t coming back so who cares.

The season is lost, and the players probably know it. That being said, I'm still very interested to see how these next two games go. Will they play with pride, pissed off with their last performance, or just go through the motions? That matters to me, and it sure as hell better matter to HCIB. Unfortunate as it is to say, a winning record is on the line here.

At this point, the coaches likely know who is coming back and who isn't (or at least have and idea). I would like to see the coaches give some opportunities to those who will be coming back and give them a chance to show what they can do.

Yeah, little to no ETN. I do appreciate what he did under Marshall and stuck around for 2 years under Brown, but his sun is setting as a Shocker just like this season is. Pohto should play 30+ in the rest of the games.
