Gal is the Point Guard. He should get it over and I believe he was walking it up the court at the 29 second mark. I'm blaming Gal because it's the PG job to get the ball across half-court before 10 seconds run off the clock, not Graham Hatch, not HCGM, not the refs. Gal and Gal alone.

I'm bitter because a Point Guard can't get the ball up the court in 10 seconds? i guess thats too much to ask, for a PG to dribble the ball and cover 45 feet in 10 seconds. Ok. I'd be blaming Matty B if he was the PG, I'd be blaming Wendell if it happened to him. I'd even blame John Stockton if he was the WSU Point Guard. But since it was Gal you assume I'm ripping into him just because he's Gal and you think he's the next Oscar Robertson. He made a mistake, a small one compared to the rest of the half, but since its Gal and I made a mention of it it makes me bitter. :rant:

There may be one thing worse than bagging on a player all the time.. and that's constantly defending a player because you have some sort of blinders on and have an apparent hard-on for him.

Clearly, as Gottlieb even mentioned, it's the PG's responsibility to get the ball up the floor. He has to realize he wasn't going anywhere into the MSU trap with 27 sec left on the shot clock. Instead he dribbled around and passed BACKWARDS instead of forwards to Graham.

I believe Gal was 1-8 from the field in First Half. Worst on the team.

Gal's helping with his ft's but he's being a touch selfish. He needs to play the position he's playing (PG) and learn to dish and give as well.. since apparently nothing he's forcing up is going either.

I hate ripping into Gal, but when people stick up for him blindly even though he's 1-8 from the field and is making stupid mistakes, it makes me mad. He's def not the only player to blame this pathetic game on, the blame goes all around.
