But he’s nice and looks better on tv.

    ... No really, deuces.

I wonder if there will be an investigation to see if that punch was warranted?

      • IB is showing signs of improvement. JP didn't play after the first half iirc. Also, he put the ball in CP and RC's hands at the end. I didn't think there was a chance in hell we'd come out with the energy we did so I'll give credit there as well.

        • Guys played hard. Several key plays. Carelton's first three of his career with
a second on the clock, TE's bad entry pass and turnover, loose ball they beat
us to and converted a three point play, TWO missed goal tending calls by the
ref's, and many more. Porter was awesome down the stretch. Hope they play
this hard in the tournament. KP played well. A couple times when they scored
he didn't get backside help which a couple posters fail to notice. All in all, very
happy with the team's effort ! One more thing.......IB should have insisted on a
review on the 2nd half goal tending.

          • I hope this turns into Porter’s coming out party and not a one time game. We need him to take over this team from the grips of Tyson.

I have been saying this all year. He and Monzy J sometime just play brain dead. Iam not surprised he did not defend. If he can learn more about what he is suppose to do on defense this summer and execute he could be a special player. He and Craig Porter will be good next year. And if TE stays like he should our perimeter should be good with the subs we have. TE is not ready for the NBA . He clearly needs to work on so many things to be better. I hope he doesn't listen to the rat poison. Heck he will be lucky to make the all second team of the AAC.

The problem is our front line is a joke. We play so much better when KP is in the game.. But the reason our front line is so weak is because of the recruitment and signing of Ash bor Mitguard, Issac Poor Boy Chandler, Morris U, and the Frenchman. (I cannot think of his name) Hopefully the way the game is played today we can recuit more athletic centers that can actually shoot.

I am still encouraged for next year if we can sign some bigs that can actually play. Go Shocks.

              • CP may not be Fred but he can definitely leave his own legacy if he continues to play like he did today.

                • Great game, boys. Being able to hang in there the way they did against a nationally ranked Houston team should give some of us hope for the conference tournament (at least it does with me). Onto the next game!

The offense is successful when we drive to the basket. Aggressive CP3 is the best CP3 in my opinion; it's hard for teams to stop him AND Ricky when they are both taking it to the hoop. Nobody else on the team can drive and finish consistently (major issue).

                    • Really great effort. We win that game last year, just have zero karma this season. I still say we miss Trey Wade more than people think. He would’ve guarded Carlton in the overtimes.

God*amn right. As long as we have to suffer through your insistence that Mo is our weak link, completely ignoring all the other bone headed plays being executed around him, including lazy passes, you can count on it.

That being said RCIV played pretty good today, minus a few scratchers...

                        • Carlton's 3 was not only his first 3 of his 5 year career... It's the first three he's ever ATTEMPTED in college.

                            • I will relent today and say the players played a great game in general. Excellent effort. If we could stop handing the ball to the opponent things might improve by a margin.
