We aren't going to finish the rest of this season well, IMO. That is going to put a lot of pressure on recruiting and keeping the redshirt players here. I personally wouldn't mind if all the covid juniors moved on.
I think WSU needs a new start. I wouldn't mind seeing an assistant coach leave as well.
About the only two returning players that I need to come back are Kenny Pohto and Ricky Council IV if he is willing to learn to play some resemblance of defense.
I personally don't care if Tyson leaves or not. I think he is gone.
This coming year, WSU needs at least one new assistant. Then, they need to go out and really sell what WSU is and what it has to offer.
You might think I am crazy, but I would give some consideration to bringing in P.J Cousinard. He knows the school and the culture. Matt Brauer might be another.
They will have to recruit high-quality transfers and recruits this year. There will be a lot of pressure on recruiting.
If recruiting doesn't go well this year, I don't know what happens.
WSU is in a very competitive league now. This is not the MVC. This is a major conference with a lot of good teams and coaches.
WSU doesn't have a lot better talent than everybody else anymore. Time for the coaches and fans to wake up to this new reality.
That is my opinion for what it is worth.

That, or a huge change in the coaching staff - like a new coach that
brings in his own guys and maybe even a player or two that follows him.
Personally, I'd try to get GM back if if at all possible. I think the three
biggest reasons for our lack of success are coaching, TE and MU. TE and
MU just are not TEAM players and IB seems fine with it. I just don't
have much faith that things are going to improve in the near future.Last edited by asiseeit; February 19, 2022, 07:54 PM.

And its probably a good thing cause both games would most likely have been lead pipe losses. That means they would probably end up with losing record.
Hard to believe I typed that last statement.
It's like the 90's all over again. Scott Thompson was a really nice guy though. So is our current head of state.
That is all.Above all, make the right call.

The Shocks do have an empty week this next week as they don't play again until the play Memphis next Sunday. But obviously, if any games were going to be resheduled that would have happened by now.
The following week is the final week of the regulard season. After playing at Memphis next Sunday they play at Tulsa on Wednesday at home vs ECU on Saturday. The first round of the AAC Tournament in on the following Thursday.
