I don't understand why it would be a flagrant. An illegal screen? Yes. But there was nothing excessive. He didn't swing anything. It was a basketball move. He stayed within his frame, just rotated into the screen which happens 20 times every game.

Key word... Looked. The shoulder rotating into the head area made it look worse than it was.

Definitely wasn't intentional but looked bad on replay

Defense was mostly great the whole half. Hard to do much about some of those shots Cook was hitting.

Cook starting 5-5 on 3 on mostly guarded 3s made our defense look worse than it was. Even with that, if our offense was even half functional, we are up double digits

So so many negatives about this team. And they’ve probably been pointed out hundreds of times truthfully on this board.

One for sure positive, they don’t roll over easily. Memphis was bad. But there’s been chances to kick it in and they usually stand up and fight.

Defense kept them in it for long stretches there.

He's been much more aggressive and willing to take 3s (where he's shooting 45% the last 3 games)... If he can keep that up, it will open up opportunities for others

This a perfect example of how you know IB is learning on the job.
He either doesn't have any memory from two weeks ago or they don't have or just don't pay attention to a scouting report.
It took 12 minutes before IB made a defensive adjustment and realized no one else on Tulane could score except Cook.
Why did it take being down 24-9 before he adjusted?

He needs to understand what it takes about being a head coach and should do so at a lower level program.
The sheet show that occurred for the first 12 minutes of this half demonstrates what he does and doesn't know.
