Creighton doesn't win in the NCAA's so they probably don't care about seeding. They already won their last game of the year unfortunatly for them.

I saw that on there. Kind of a well duh moment. Beating a team thats #16 vs beating a just over 100 RPI team...bit of a difference. That being said, I think Lunardi putting them at a 7 seed is a little low. Think they'll get a six seed. By the same token,, was a bit surprised to see he still has us as a 4 seed. Am expecting 5 or 6 for us too. The committee just doesnt have a lot of love for mid majors.

They were only being silly if they thought they could beat WSU. While beating WSU in the finals would have been better for them than beating Illinois State, losing to WSU would have been worse ;)

Actually I doubt it would make much difference. Losing to the #16 team really shouldn't hurt you. Now if they had beat the #16 team then that would have helped them.

Doug IS very good, but he has had off nights as well. If he is held to half his average, there goes a quarter of CU's fire power -- but we all know that their defense will make up for that. :)

Totally agree. At least their fan base got to enjoy their last win with a third storming of the court this year.

Winning the actual conference season was better.

Seriously ask yourself why you come over here and post in the manner you do. Think hard what that says about you. Think about how your own self worth apparently is derived from college age kids playing basketball. That can be the only answer as you sat and stewed for nearly 3 weeks waiting for the shox to lose. Then came and beat your chest. My guess is you are beside yourself because the shox are still projected the higher seed, still ranked higher, curbstomped CU in Omaha, and still the MVC champions of 2012.

Congrats on your 3 game tourney victory, Indy st fans are more than willing to tell you how bad azz that makes you.

I would have loved a rubber match but since it didn't happen I will have to be content with a beat down in front of the LARGEST crowd to EVER watch a basketball game in the state of Nebraska. It will give me a warm feeling for the rest of my days. And if the memories start to fade then I'll just pull it up from the archived games. I will place it next to "THE THROW" in the college world series. Oh wait, that was against you guys in front of your home crowd also wasn't it. Son of a gun two of my fondest memories all because of the great teams from creighton. Once again thank you.
