We are 9-7 in our last 16 games. That has to be our worst record for a 16 game stretch in a long time. It is time for IB to make changes, try something different

Don't want to think this but you could be right.

Dude, there is a narrative you're not following.

Ignore the 18-19 NIT Semifinal loss to Lipscomb. Butt rapes by La Tech, UCONN, VCU, and OU. 41 points in a loss at USF. 19 wins before the NIT.

Started out like a young stud in 19-20 and then limber-dicked our way home like a drunk 50 year old that forgot his Cialis. Included an act by Houston that can only be described as necrophilia. Team scattered to the winds.

More GGG and all the drama that came with him is exactly what this program needed more of and anybody who thinks otherwise is a snowflake or a pu$$y that didn't have their coach giving them the Mr. Slippyfist treatment at North High in 1955.

Would be tough to bounce back from an 0-3 start in conference.

Haha, Classic! The last 2 years of 3G were kinda rough when you think about it. But I still followed then like I follow now. Coaches come and go, but I am Shox for life!

If Monzy doesn’t start over Pleasant, then something is rotten in Denmark.

Bro, you're the one on here simping for your "daddy" to come back. At least have some dignity.

Wondering if it was the "limber-dicked" or "Mr. Slippyfist" comment that really triggered you?

Something I learned in a management seminar. When you have to replace an employee who was popular, that employee will be put in a silver box. That former employee will always be remembered by the silver box, which only contains the good things that employee did, and contains nothing else. From time to time that silver box will be opened and the admiration for that employee will be renewed. Every time that silver box gets opened, its' value goes up.

The good will be remembered. Anything else is ignored or forgotten. The new employee is screwed because they can never compare to the silver box.

                            Good analogy.
I liked and appreciated ggg And hated to see him leave. I also supported ib when they named him hc.
But seeing things a little different this year. Not sure hcib is ready at this point but sure hope he can figure it out soon.

Here's the deal. This Shocker 9-5 record is not cutting the mustard on here and reminds me of a real old movie starring Dolly Parton. Someone has to pay with a loss and I predict a 7 point Shocker surpass (maybe more) for the 10-5 new and improved record. Take this to the bank, but don't bet the farm. The Shocks must dictate the lane Tu-lane is allowed to play in.

Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

I agree with all of that. I'll add that I don't think Kennedy is the mentor that IB needs. I get the feeling that Kennedy reinforces IB's natural tendencies and IB needed to be moved in the opposite direction. With Kennedy mentoring, IB is being taught to go further in the direction he was already headed.
