I thought GS comment about warning a guy 40 times before calling a foul was classic. He is right. At some point just call a frigging foul.

If they're still sick, then yes, the time off will be good to get well. Other than that, there is no benefit and hurts us. This isn't a loss where the team just got beat by the better team. Those types of wins are easy to get over. All these guys know they let this game slip away. A 13 point advantage was chipped away to the very last seconds of the game. It was torturous to watch, I can't imagine the mindset of the boys who were experiencing this first hand. This will not be an easy loss to forget. This will simmer for awhile and they carry no momentum into the post-season.
I know they take solace in the fact they know they are dancin'. I look forward to seeing their smiles on selection Sunday. Until then, this stinks.Comment

Its pretty clear that Marshall has no love for this tournament and little love for the treatment he feels he gets at times in this conference. He made some pretty strong comments both here and even stronger to Mike after the game. I hope that Marshall is such a competitor that his emotions were taking over after the game and cooler heads will prevail. Strange things and neutral court were stinging comments.
Its hard to feel very positive about someone who feels like he does wanting to continue to go through it year after year. Its my hope that we win some games in the dance by playing like I know we can and put a better taste in his mouth. I think if someone offered him a exit from this conference and Arch Madness today he'd be hard pressed not to take it.
So to conform to the original thread topic the good things from this loss is not having to deal with STL another day.Comment
