I’ll amend further…if we finish at a percentage better than .722 (repeating, of course) AND play Houston and Memphis both twice, it also applies. But we’d have to play them both twice.

I will admit 13-5 seems optimistic. But if you're guessing 9-9, I think you're overvaluing how good the American is going to be.

There is a reason analytics have us as the 3rd or 4th best team in the conference, and it probably isn't because we're fantastic. Only a handful of top-100 teams.

In all fairness WSU did come close to that last year (3 of 4) if only Penny would have come to Wichita.

He probably believed (rightly) if the Tigers lost at Tulsa why take a chance at WSU.

You know, conference play is a whole other animal, and we won the damn thing last year. How you can pick less than 50% wins must mean you think this team will self implode? I am realist, and I think we will be 3rd or 4th.
