Just got home. Been out-of-pocket since about 1:00 this afternoon. Was planning on watching a replay of the game this evening. Perhaps there are more enjoyable pursuits to finish of the day.
Doesn't sound seem like things went well for the Shocks today to say the very least. The trend is not what I was hoping for 11 games into the season.
I'm going to try and do this without mother****ing anyone. No promises.
1)If there's a worse ball handling team in organized basketball, at any level, I don't want to see them.
Merry Christmas
I can't do the next 16 items.
We needed Gregg Marshall today. Gregg would have been at half court, if necessary, to get the officials to stop play BEFORE we took an ill advised shot or turnover. Then he would have spent the entire media timeout eviscerating the entire crew, motioning with a finger for each of them to come here and take their medicine.
THEN he would have called ANOTHER TIME OUT and blistered the team within an inch of their lives, and probably choked a couple of assistants and then kicked Todd Fagen. And we wouldn't have lost.
That being said, most of the issues today, short of the boneheaded 12 turnovers in the 2nd half, aren't going to be fixed. They are personnel problems. No post, basically no PG, can't dribble the ball, and we're 2 walk ons and at least 1 scholarship player from a full team.
It is what it is, and right now it's not very good.
Interesting. Are women safe in Wichita if Jan's is in town? Time for another shot of whiskey?
That is top 5 one of the dumbest posts in SN history.
You have identified yourself as a complete a$$hole and have moved well past Coldblooded as a supreme KU lurker dickwad.
Congratulations.

This.
I cannot believe nobody on our bench came unhinged by that total abomination when CP went down. I will never understand how nobody blew a gasket. There is simply no fire. It really sucks as a fan and look at our bench and just see catatonic coaches when our guy is down and the refs totally screwed the pooch.
KP should be playing a minimum of 25 mpg at the 4 and/or 5. If we have a future, he is it!
DD at least busts his ass on D. Have no real problem here if he can be a 5-10 pt player he was his first 3 years.
We need a 2nd PG and, like it or not, QG is it. May need to make sure we at least 1, probably 2, other vocal leaders on the court within him the minutes he plays.
When TE forces, bad things usually happen. I'm not sure he will even continue to draw near as much of the opposition's attention at this point.
CP is solid.
MU. See TE. When he forces, bad things (TOs) usually happen. He's much of a black hole.
Generally, I don't really have any real problems with CJ and RC4. They had a combined 13 rebounds in 38 minutes even if their offense was off tonight.
JP is a spot player at best.
HCIB....take a good look at UNT's passing offense. Why so many of our players have to dribble the ball as soon as they receive a pass I have no answer for.
Unless the people that constantly mention calling Jans or now MT are ponying up a few million we probably should focus on what the heck we do for the next couple years to get better. We are already paying two coaches, doubt we can afford 3
Right now, we can't afford the 2. In any way, shape or form.

I
And the crowd would have gone crazy and 2 players would have hit the transfer portal by Saturday and another 5 in the spring
That being said, I agree completely with you doc. I don’t like the road college basketball is on.
starting 5:
CP. serviceable, but loose with the ball, and no urgency.
TE: Currently sucking at the one thing he needs to do, shoot the ball. Not a good defender, not a facilitator, and more often than not is caught watching rebounds grabbed in front of him
DD: good defender, can't do the one thing on offense he is asked to do, make open 3's
JP: Really doesn't do anything, the best comment is that he doesn't kill you on either end.
MU: Double teams are his kryptonite. Can't handle them and shows no sign of improvement.
And what's troubling, RC nor MJ can beat JP or DD out of their starting spot?
And how does KP only get 9 minutes. (Next game, on defense, watch only KP, particularly his feet, it is a thing of beauty!)
As was mentioned, it is a personnel issue, and not sure it gets fixed, now or later.
Quick question: What is our track record with redshirts and them being successful at basketball at WSU? Baker is an outlier. Jenkins is a redshirt and we have 2 others currently redshirting. Can we expect them to ever be contributors?

That is all.
Please don't cry. It's not my fault that Chris Jans did what he did at Bowling Green. He was fired for terrible behavior. But hey Windmills cause cancer too. Meow meow,

Everybody hates the meanie asshole coach and wanted a vanilla, calm, and minding my p’s and q’s one.
Well, I hope every one of you is happy. We got it.

One of them was a Top 150-160 recruit. One might not be ready, but I don’t understand how he talked this one into redshirting. I guess IB must be worried that guys will transfer if he plays the best, and sit those who don’t. He wants to be liked more than win, maybe?

Hey all. Haven’t posted in years. Hadn’t opened since maybe 2017. Used to frequent under another account. I haven’t missed watching a game since I was really young. Haven’t missed a season without going to at least one game since probably 2007, even though I haven’t lived in Wichita since 2017. I am 23. I remember going to 3G’s first game and getting a Marshall Plan shirt. I grew up watching great teams. It’s all I’ve ever known. I’ve always had hope that the program was looking up and had better in store for later even if there were some bumps in the road.
Today… I cannot say I feel that way. This is undoubtably the most disappointed I have felt ever watching wichita state basketball. Obviously this is different from some of you older than I, who watched through the 90s. I was born in 98. But this team is excruciating to watch offensively. I don’t understand. I actually don’t want to watch them play anymore. I will watch them, every game, but I’m really pissed, sad, and disappointed.
