I understand the desire to rub in a win to certain members of a fanbase is a God Given Right, but a couple in their 60's, visibly upset to the point they were should have not drawn a "Don't cry, just go back to f***** Indiana bit***!"
I don't know who you were, but you better hope I don't find out. Classless.

IMHO that kind of juvenile behaviour is unacceptable under any circustances. Add in the tragic circumstance of the death of this fans and it just makes you sick to your stomach. Granted these individuals were probably unaware of the circumstance but if you simply win with class and lose with class you don't have to worry about exposing yourself as an idiot.
My heart goes out to these Indiana State fans who lost their son. God bless them. Very sad only to be made worse by some jerks who probably think their duece doesn't stink. Fortunately, these idiots only represent a small fraction of Shocker Nation.

You can thread jack all you want on this issue. Embarrassed as a Shocker Nation member when you here a horrific story like that. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tree Land and their tragic loss.
Just returned from Landry's at Union Station. 80% of the restaurant were Blue Jays. Mrs. SHOXMVC, myself and an 8-top that included Susan Peters. That was basically it with Shocker fans. Was pleasantly surprised at the civility of the interaction with BJ's. We all agreed pulling for each other until Sunday made sense and we parted with no blood. That's how opposing fan bases should conduct themselves.
GO SHOX!!!

This is a tragedy and I'm very sorry that some Shocker fans were so thoughtless and classless. I doubt that they were aware of the tragedy but I would hope WSU fans are above taunting and being poor winners. Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Disappointed and embarrassed to hear that account of WSU fans. One of the great things about Arch Madness is that it mostly attracts the BEST of the fanbase, and ShockerNation is no exception. Our fans are great!
But with success, unfortunately, comes bandwagoners and I'd say there is a 90% chance that's who these jackasses were....bandwagoners.
One more thing....look inward, and see how these things start. Many of us get over-involved in pissing matches (hello @SycamoreFanatic: ?)and these memories linger. Then you get a chance to deliver a zinger, do just that, and you end up saying something moronic that you regret for the rest of your life. Many of us need to wear a piece of that comment.
Lesson for the Day: Think before you speak and like our parents always told us, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
Go Shocks

Getting away from this for a moment, if you didn't follow the chat with Kirk Seminoff during the game, you should. Go to Kansas.com and re-read. There are some enjoyable tweets and comments.
Jen Bates dropping a WTF. ISU beat writer with his 34-10 some things are best left unsaid update. Carl Hall only eats red meat and drinks lemonade with no sugar etc. Good stuff.
