Yep. While it's sad to see a once proud program gutted from the inside-out, their board is actually pretty entertaining. However, if Lowery doesn't get pink-slipped this year their board will be in full meltdown mode.

I cant even imagine how SIU fans would react if they retained Lowery. I think at this point it would cost them more money to keep him over buying him out with the (Im assuming) lost revenue from low donations, season tickets holders jumping ship, and just poor attendance at their games in general.

I don't suppose the phone call from Seck announcing his decision lasted long. On the coaches show Monday a caller asked if players, upon making a decision, call the coaches of schools they turned down. Marshall replied he responds to that call in a very short manner, because if a player doesn't want to be here..."I'm moving on."

We beat the Trees in Terra Haute by 10.
The Trees gave us fits in Wichita and we win by 5.
Why?

Both teams looked horrible tonight. Of course, SIU looked so poor, it was embarrassing for the university.

Oh no, yeah, would never argue that. Their style was never pretty...but they did win. 8 and 23 has to hurt. I saw on their board that of the 16? conference games theyve won in the 3? years, 11 have come against Eville, Bradley, ISUr. 5 against all other conference opponents...so so bad.
