  • Toure Murry - This is your legacy

Forget the Valley All-Conference Team snub. You have bigger fish to fry, a bigger legacy to cement. You can make this happen:

    MVC Post-Season Tournament Champion
MVC Post-Season Tournament Most Outstanding Player
    NCAA Regional Champion
NCAA Regional All-Tournament Team and MVP

Add this to all of your other lifetime achievement awards at WSU and you will go down as one of the greatest ever. We might even have to create a new award, named after you - The Toure Murry StreakBuster Trophy.

You have killed a lot of ugly streaks in your time here. Just a few more streaks to bust.

Amen and amen...Toure is THAT player who you have just loved watching mature, improve, expand and do it all FOR the team!

We will miss him more than we imagine, I believe!

Tourè is the closest player since the 80s to having a career stellar enough to hang in the rafters. I hope he explodes onto the national scene.

I agree he will be the hardest player to replace from this senior class. His game is more complete than any other player in the valley including Dougie!!

Totally agree. Easily one of the best all around players in our program's history. I'm really gonna miss Toure. I'll never forget speaking with Steve Woodberry in St Louis in HCGM's first year. I asked him about MSU's recruiting. In his answer he mentioned the Shocker incoming class. He said that we landed a total stud out of Houston named Murry. Dang was he right.

Let's keep this thing going Toure!

            I wouldn't say 80s, but late 90s. Jason Perez?

No offense but I'm hoping Toure is more worried about the team accolades than the individual. Actually, based on watching him play this year I know he is. He has finally accepted his role and flourished in it. He understands what it means to play Shocker basketball. He's not the only piece to the puzzle but he's one that, when finally snapped in place, makes the whole thing worth hanging on ur wall.

Toure' took notice of the snub. It's not going to change him though.
