  • RE-START TO THE TOURNAMENT CONTEST

I made an error in the 4th thru 10th seeding in my original final standings for the regular season contest. I have corrected this in the Final Standings post. All the original tournament contest posts have been deleted. We will start again. My special apology to @1979Shocker: and @1972Shocker: since this bumps them out of the contest. I will be re-posting tournament contest games #1, #2, #4 and #6 this afternoon.

@vancedave56:, @B1ShockFan:, @shox1989:, @dregn:, @shocker3:, @KraRam:, @Downtown Shocker Brown:, @GOSHOX1:, @ShockerFever:, @JaminShock:, @shocktheheart: all made entrees in the contest threads that were deleted. I have mentioned you in this post to be sure you know the need to re-post in the new threads. Thanks for your all of your patience and understanding.

No apology necessary @tropicalshox. I appreciate your work on hosting and monitoring the contest. It's been fun.

Saves me from killing a few brains cells which I am in no position to lose.

      Hi Trop,

I wanted to ask for a rules clarification.

Say in game 6 there are only two picks. Contestant one picks MSU by 1 and contestant two picks EU by 12. The game ends with EU winning by 2.
Contestant two would advance for picking the right team, correct? (i.e. even though you could say the margin of contestant two is 10 points whereas the margin of contestant one is 3).

That's correct, the contestant picking Evansville would win by picking the winning team. Lets say all contestants pick the losing team, say MSU by 1 and MSU by 2 but Evansville wins. The contestant picking MSU by 1 wins.
