As usual, SR & The Mentor will come rolling into STL about 1600 Hours on Thursday.

Plan on taking in the 6:00 PM game with InSU & SIU before heading over to Zia's on The Hill for some damn fine Italian cuisine.

Friday & Saturday will feature a smorgasbord of basketball viewing, topped off with a highly anticipated party on the floor around 3:30 PM Sunday.

Arch Madness

Wife and I for our 13th consecutive year. The couple who comes with us for about their 6th or 7th, maybe 8th year. Leaving early Thursday morning to be there for the play in games on Thursday, then for an entire tournament of great basketball all weekend.

The best thing about this year is that we will be able to be on the floor with the team Sunday.

I'm going to add this quote by @shox1989: for all those Shocker fans going to St. Louis in regards to David Kyles being in the finals of the Final Four Dunk Contest:

If we can get an organized effort in St. Louis it might help. I have a feeling there will be hundreds of Shocker fans in the Lou who are not voting in this poll yet. If we can get everyone in St. Louis voting it could make the difference if DK can remain close until then.

I kept hoping DK would pull ahead yesterday and when it never happened I really started getting worried. The moose is right as the week goes on it will be a lot harder to make up ground.

Think maybe some of you head down tomorrow so I just wanted to wish everyone safe travels there and back and also that everyone has an enjoyable tournament, regardless of outcome though I hope for a victory. Alas I cant be there...med school has a monopoly on my life for the now and forever future...but have fun everyone!
