If you could only have one, would you prefer:

1. Conference season championship - had a great regular season
2. Conference Tournment Championship - got hot, going to the big dance
3. NIT Championship - TV exposure, lots of extra practice time

The NIT championship is better than a one-and-done in the NCAA tournament. If you're going to leave it up in the air, conference season championship, if it includes a NCAA bid. Tournament if an at large bid doesn't go along with a regular season championship.

Agree. The first two are means to an end while the third is an end in itself.

But I would go with #1 if I had to as it means more happy nights overall for me.
