  • Shockers hold the lead

WSU has been in the lead 80.7% of the minutes played this season; 85.2% in conference games only.
There were 10 games WSU was never behind; six of those in-conference games.
I have nothing to compare this to, but it seems pretty dominant.

Good stuff. Where did you get the data?

In order to do the plus/minus stats, I have written a program that reads each line of the play-by-play to ascertain the time, score and players on the floor. This is an extension of that program, ignoring the players on the floor, but instead calculating the lead/behind/tie information.

We also our outscoring our opponents by a average of 14 points per game, I was trying to think of a more dominant valley, none comes to mind at least recently. Anyone know the record for a valley team on scoring margins.

Statsheet.com says we're at 13.5 for Valley games. The highest other total back to 2000 was a CU team (maybe 02-03?) that was at 13.

Not sure if that was what you wanted or not.

Interesting last year they show MSU at around 6 and WSU 11. Wish we could have moved some of those points around.

          SIU's 17-1 team was only +6.1
