anyone know if its available on tv in kansas city?

  • #2
Yes, it will be carried live on MetroSports which is on Time Warner. Not all sports bars use Time Warner, but satellite instead. I know Fox & Hound does not carry it, not sure about someone like Tanner's.

"Tip-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on Kansas Now Channel 22 with Bruce Haertl and Craig Steven calling the action. The game will also be picked up by Cox Sports Television and available to over 1.5 million viewers in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and North/Central Florida. Fans can also listen the radio broadcast on KNSS 1330 or through www.shockerradio.com."

They could still do that, but it still doesn't cover the target audience here like it should.

Too bad they don't just show it on KAKE 10 as well as 22. Since Ch. 22 is a KAKE station, it wouldn't be that hard to do, except they'd probably have to get rid of Haertl.

                    It did? Oh.....

Don't get me wrong, Bruce is a great guy, but I'm sure they could find someone better to do the WSU games for TV.

Yea, you're right. I stand corrected.

They could just pipe Mike Kennedy in for the Play-by-play. It'd take that.

The 810 zone most likely could show it, not sure if they would have it on by default, but it might be worth a try...
