Being as how this is easily one of the most determined WSU teams since 1981 and the final 4 is in New Orleans this year I think the local Wichita news networks should do a story over that 1981 team that beat ku out of the sweet 16 in the game famously known as "the battle of New Orleans".. I hope it happens. I wasn't alive in 1981, but a WSU vs KU rematch in the NCAA tourny, better yet the final 4 would be a really cool to see and I would bet that no matter the out come, both fan basis would remember that game for years to follow.
