If I didn't know better, I'd say it looks like Stutz had a marijuana cigarette for breakfast. That one defensive posession where Cohen's backup scored, Stutz was completely and utterly lost.

Where have you been for 3-plus years...Garrett isn't in for his defensive mastery. It's offensively in the second half he needs to step up and realize what stage he is on.

1. I am no charge/blocking expert, but that last call against Stutz was horsefeathers.

2. The zone in the last 3-4 minutes did not work out too well. Those Davidson white guys are in there for two reasons. They play smart and they shoot very well. Zone against good shooters hardly ever works out.

Stutz missed 2 throws early which is rare. Watch for him to settle down and help lead us in a positive way in the next half. Hopefully, Rags can get us some more easy lay ups. We can't afford to give them wide open shots or we can't foul them too much. Maybe the charge calls will even out some now because that area was very, very one-sided the 1st half in their huge favor.

Not bad so far. Stutz needs to get it going, and we need to cover the screen three better, but I think we're the better team. Confident Marshall will make the necessary adjustments at the half, and hopefully Stutz will look more alive.
