Since we're giving unsolicited advice,

Can we please chill with the "how are you doings" From caller 1 to caller 45641566/8754646 its "Hey coach how you doing"

Did you not hear the person who called ahead of you ask him the same question?
I know its a nicety and its polite but at what point do we realize that its completely redundant?

Was out running down a wayward dog during the show, so missed it. I was going to call in and suggest that the coaching staff hire three or four football defensive tackles and station them under/around the basket and have Stutz and EO practice trying to back them down and shoot over them. Good practice for trying to move Echenique out of the way. THEN that brain fart went away because I remember a couple of weeks ago when poor Tom called with a question. Then I got smart -- NOT ME -- I'm not calling in.

Perhaps the "call-in" radio format self-selects the type of caller you're going to get. Aren't call-in shows kind of a relic? So the majority of people who call in might be older, retired people who fuss about little things because, hell, they've got the time.

Does the call in show accept--and if they don't, maybe they should start accepting--questions submitted via Twitter and Facebook? That might be a way to balance the questions back towards a younger demographic.

Great idea! Maybe that would give the show some balance, versus a steady diet of
Ron, Dennis, Tom & Fred...
