  • I'm past the point of caring...

This is the first season in a long time where I have stopped caring about what other teams do. It may be a little premature but our Shocks have put themselves in a position where we don't have to worry about how any other team performs. No more hoping somebody wins or somebody loses. No more agonizing over games in other conferences because how they might affect our rpi. No more worrying about who we get matched up with in St. Louis.

We are in first place in the conference with a solid lead...quite an accomplishment in any season.

We have cracked the top 25 at most crucial stretch of the season which is exactly when you want to do it.

We will have a great seed for St. Louis and I think this year we get the St. Louis monkey off our back.

All you other teams....you are on your own and I don't care who wins or losses anymore because we control our own destiny for the rest of the season.

    Way to go. GO SHOX!

You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Totally agree. I like one team and one team only. The Shox. After that, all I hear is blah, blah, blah.

on the other hand, one of those "other" teams in Kansas will lost tonight. Yeah!

One more win and we are the number 1 seed in the Valley tournament because of the tie breaker.

Along this same line. I don't understand why some don't think we should be thumping our chests. It doesn't mean we're going to overlook anyone. It doesn't mean we're not going to put out the effort. It means we are one of the top teams in the country and we should be proud of it. And to those that say we haven't done anything yet, BS. We've had a great ride. Quit worrying about what might not happen and enjoy what's going on. I have a lot of confidence in this group. I, too, am not worrying about what any other teams are doing. I believe in this team. I believe in the coaches. I will be in St. Louis and won't be leaving until late Sunday afternoon.

I'm not sure anyone is saying we haven't done anything, but we haven't completed anything yet. What we have done is put ourselves in great postion to complete one goal. On his radio show tonight 3G said they have list of items the want to accomplish. Next to Win MVC Regular Season Championship he has placed part of a check mark. However, the still have some work to do before they can complete the check mark.

BTW, if I understood 3G correctly a National Championship is on the team's to do list. Although a lot of check marks have to be completed before we even contemplate such a thing.
