I ran into a few WSU (most just happy and excited about the W and the way it went) fans who were pretty classless, I'm sure you all know them. I'll point out one. Some guy who felt the need to wear sunglasses and a stocking cap during the game, he usually sits behind the bench when WSU comes to town but my guess is they either didn't want him there or enough boosters of means came up and he got booted to the balcony. He was also making sure everyone knew how "cool" his t-shirt that said "creighton girls love the shocker" was. Hilarious. Any of these things - sunglasses, stocking cap, stupid shirt, I would get if it was a student, that's what students do. This was a grown man, in age only. Buddy, no one thinks you are funny, except maybe a few of your friends who also act like you. Most people see you and think one word - loser. Someone actually told me he was a teacher, if so God help the youth of america that has to be taught by him. Just the point that we all got these types of fans - hope to see you Sunday in St. Louis.
Alright, fess up, which of you posters fits the above description?

You are right about all teams have classless fans. I had a Tulsa fan once scream in my ear in our house for an entire game back in the early 80s. I just got out of prison last year for that one.

I know exactly who you are talking about. The dude still sits in the student section a lot (front row of course) and I'm pretty sure he's been there for 6 or more years. Did he have a goatee of sorts? If so, that's the guy... Sorry about him.

I also see ‘Porkchop’ with both arms raised in the photo… he’s immediately right of the ‘Michelin Man’ in the yellow t-shirt crossing his arms over his 80,000 mile spare tire.

Yep, we have our problem fans as well...perfect example was the guy who started the NIT chant in Puerto Rico when Alabama was kicking our butts. From what I've heard he was the same guy making fun of Drake and taunting their students as we were getting our @$$ handed to us in OT #3.

Either way, I don't have a problem with stupid signs and fans when it comes to CU vs WSU. It's a rivalry and that stuff is going to happen. 3 years ago I was up there with a small group. Didn't have any problems at the game, actually the people sitting next to us were really nice. Found it amusing in the concourse when a CU fan, maybe 10 years old was following and heckling a group of WSU students. Also later that night we were eating at a fairly nice restaurant. A CU fan (might be the one with the sign) walked over to our table and said, "WSU fans huh? That's too bad. It's going to be a long drive back to Wichita." With his girl friend or wife in the background telling him to shut up and leave.

I made sure to tell everyone I knew who was up there this time around to make sure they got their money’s worth before they left town.

say what you want about that dude but he represents better than 90% of the fan base.(student body and non students/alumni combined) Sure he looks ridiculous but its a freaking basketball game who cares?

If I recall, that guy had someone post for him here once or twice either last year or two years ago. What I remember is that he teaches at BuCoJuCo (math dept. perhaps?) and takes a class at WSU just so he can score free student section tix. No doubt the guy is a rabid fan, but he perpetuates any stereotype someone wants to slap on WSU and our fans.

I don't think it makes sense to feel sorry for his students. He may very well be a great teacher. I've typically found the more extroverted teachers to have more effective methods.
