I’m calling it, we’re going to be a play-in team.

* So many brackets had us in for so long, even those that just has us for AQ may have a hard time dropping us all the way off for one loss (even if it isn’t logical).
* We are a bit of a weird resume with a lot of close wins and a unique resume, and the play-in games are in part proving grounds for unusual resumes.
* The media will enjoy talking about the team and the drama of the last season, especially with HCIB as AAC COY.
* Plus, you know, the seeding fits pretty well on its own.

I'd say Fairly high. There are already two teams (KU and Virginia) that might not clear protocols but are expected to be seeded as if they can.

I think the American gets two bids. If UH takes care of Cincy (95%+) then it's WSU and UH. If the Shox can get their game going again, a 12 seed is a good thing. Only have to beat a 5-seed and a 4-seed to make it to a S16.

But that's also assuming that the backup team from said conferences are continually testing just in case. Many will probably not be.

I voted replacement team. I think if it comes down to accepting that versus an NIT bid, for the sake of Alterique and Trey, the team would opt for the chance to play in the NCAA tournament.
