"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
I know that in-game I have been quite critical of Mo's play, but you're right. He has worked hard and has been key in several of our late wins, especially with his rebounding improvements. In the last 11 games he averaged 6.2 rpg. In the 8 games prior to that he only averaged 2.5.
As I said earlier in the season, when other players were scurrying off a seemingly sinking ship, the ones that stayed saved our season. I would hate to see what this team would be like without Mo.
Mo has flaws. No more and no less flaws than anyone else.
He played his ass off and had to in order to try and match Durr.
He has earned my respect. No one has grown as much as he has. As frustrating as he can be at times. But then, everyone on this team is frustrating at times.
You know what ISNT frustrating?
Being 16-4 and in the semi-finals of the AAC tourney!

I would like to see Tyson be a little more selective on some of those shots, he can get those pretty much anytime. Early in the shot clock is alitttle much and to me it’s like a turnover. But I wouldn’t trade him for anyone, just don’t like the fadeaway off balance 25 footers
Tyson’s a great shooter but when he’s twisting and turning as he’s shooting isn’t a good shot. He needs to be squared up unless the shot clock is about to go off.

Agreed. I will give USF some credit. They blanketed him very well today.

We gotta get better shot selection. So glad we won, but...
Folks trash Dakich but I thought he was pretty decent to the Shox. He mentioned we could beat most teams in the country. And then he said we take a lot of dumb shots. That was especially true of Tyson in the first half. Dude. You are a stud. But if it's not there it's not there. Also, Mo. Trying to do too much in the first half. The great thing is that these things are fixable. Fun stuff though! Sheesh that was close.
Agreed about shot selection, particularly TE’s and AG’s. We know what TE is capable of, but why settle for a harder shot? He was better before all of the accolades have seemingly gone to his head. I hope it’s not coaching, as in someone telling him he has to do everything and carry this team cuz not only is that not true, but it’s a recipe for disaster.
I feel like that’s the difference in this team skating by with W’s and this team blowing out people: shot selection. And it seems like the coaching staff is cool with it.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I think some folks don't like Dakich because he comes across as opinionated and full of himself. To me, though, most of the time his analysis is spot on.

His analysis of Collins FT form is something I noticed his last game against us and was spot on too.
