In one of the pre-season polls, I checked the box beside 23 or 24 wins. 23 is still possible.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

And still nothing on WSU's win on Yahoo Sports despite the great human interest story here....I suppose the coverage to be expected since WSU is a fly over country school.

It’s locked in only it all 11 teams go to Fort Worth. I’m kinda wondering if teams like Temple and SMU shut it down for the season. If a team doesn’t go, I wonder if there’d be either a walkover or a smaller bracket.

              They couldn't do it.

              WSU earned the title.

So proud of this team and the coaching staff. Happy for HCIB. He’s been at this a long time and he’s earned the privilege of coaching at a high level basketball program, The American Conference Champions, so get over it Memphis and Houston. We earned it and the Shockers weren’t the reason for the cancellations. Can’t wait for the Banner hanging.

But the fight of these players and the calm and collectness of IB didnt let that happen. We aint done yet!
                  This is so beyond ridiculous.

                  Houston:
1)The difference wasn't that we weren't able to play as many games as we were healthy, but so many other teams were not. We did not play a game for 12 days because none of the teams that had to cancel on us either couldn't or wouldn't play us during that time.
                  2) It wasn't really that you split with Tulsa and we beat them twice. But that's on you.
                  3) Same goes for splitting with us. But that's on you.
                  4) The REASON was that you lost to the last place team in the league who only had 2 wins and you were one of them. That is REALLY on you.

                  Memphis:
                  1) Same as #1 above
                  2) You had to postponed your trip to Wichita (not on us). But that's is on you.
                  3) It really wasn't that you lost to Tulsa twice. But that, too, is on you.
                  4) The REASON was that the AAC gave you an opportunity to return the home game you owed us, but your coach said NO. I don't care about the excuse, you had the opportunity.

SMU is practicing again and scheduled to play tomorrow. I’d put nothing past them but at this point they’ll be in Ft Worth.

I have no idea Temple’s current status is.

What an incredible by the Wichita State program, kudos to everyone!

I like that there are whispers of doubt remaining. Let’s go shut them all up in Fort Worth!

The salty tears of Memphis and Houston fans are almost as satisfying as the championship itself.

And lol at Memphis fans thinking they're gonna beat Houston tomorrow. Their beef is the best. And especially after Penny pussed out like a ***** and didn't wanna play us on Thursday. That fanbase continues to rank as the most idiotic on the planet.

                        ... No really, deuces.

Their game tomorrow was cancelled. Supposedly, they will give it a go in Fort Worth, but I don’t like their chances for a deep run. I’d love to take a USF/SMU path to Sunday.

Wow the amount of salt from UH and Memphis fans could rival the ocean. Twitter is just a cesspool of whining and bagging on WSU. I highly doubt any of these idiots realize none of the cancelled games were due to WSU.

Not enough talk of HCIB and what this team has accomplished this year IMO. Best story in CBB.
