As a homage to both Gregg Marshall and Ramon Clemente, players should write FPB on their shoes during the postseason.

I'd rather they just act like she doesn't exist.

The last five games also coincide with Dexter's improved perimeter shooting. He's is 13 of 26 in that span.

I do remember Mike Kennedy quipping on the pregame show that in regards to Texas opening up for business and not placing restrictions on gatherings, "the only thing not open in Texas is a science book."

            Not a good look Mike.

There is a Patty, or Patricia, who regularly calls/tweets to the pregame show. She is a different person from Texas.

Two separate Patty’s called/tweeted to the USF pre game, one of which was definitely Texas Patty. I’m not sure if the other was the infamous Patty.

He was quoting someone else when he said that. Both he and Dave got a good laugh. I’m sure someone somewhere was offended by the comment.

No doubt. If Texas is like most states then school ain't open, therefore, ain't no books open.

Talk about denying science (the teachers that is).

Schools are open in Texas. My kids have been going full time since September. As for “opening up”, it’s just a political stunt. We expect most businesses to continue to require masks to come in, at least through this summer.

I know. I have close relatives in Texas (Temple & San Antonio) who are taking their kids to school every day (Temple). Not sure if that applies to every county in the state. Would you know that? I don't think it's a stunt. They didn't outlaw masks, and we're all pretty sure people will do so (wear masks as needed).

But my point about teachers denying the science stands unequivocally, per the CDC. What's the median age of death now? Isn't it up to 85? Serious question.

That's an unbelievably stupid comment. If true, well, I will be glad MK is a good basketball play by play guy.

                              • Don't we have non-basketball threads for these discussions? Cancelled games in the basketball thread is great. Once it goes that direction, the discussion moves to political areas that tend to be divisive. That type of discussion would be better left in forums that can be avoided by posters who want to avoid controversy and arguments.
