I'll bet that Kung Wu didn't even realize that it was Rixtoy that came over and was talking to my wife before the game. Next time I'll introduce you to each other.
That was your wife?
DAMN, you are a lucky man.
If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .
Is it a coincidence that the cheerleaders didn't throw the balls tonight? Is it a coincidence that the little girl who sits right in front of me caught a ball? Is it a coincidence that a total of 4 balls were thrown into the upper level of my section? They are listening!
No... It's not a coincidence, you just started paying more attention to where things are thrown. I thought that you didn't want a ball or a t-shirt.
Much better flow to the game, resulting in more energy from the fans. As Shocker85 mentioned, the blocks of empty corp seats is a glaring problem. Other than that, atmosphere was much better. Moving in the right direction.
"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.
My wife wasn't too happy about the baseball players throwing mini-balls into the crowd. She got hit in the face with one in row 31. It was travelling so fast and it's dark enough up there that neither one of us saw it coming.
I know that some in the Administration read Shockernet and some specifically stay away from this site. My point is that we are delusional to think that we are influencing much of anything.
We are a very, very small % of the fan base.
Most of the problems and issues are usually pretty obvious and thus the solutions are obvious.
If I'm going to be the first to complain I also need to show props. Last nights half time was good and the time out activities were better. WU making a half court shot before the game was nice too. Good job to the marketing team.

Thanks for that clarification - it does make sense - I just want to think my sophomoric infatuation with this site serves more purpose than just irritating my wife . . .

Last night was a lot of fun. I don't really care if the administration reads shockernet for ideas or not, but I can agree with everyone that there were a number of small changes in the right direction.
Also, there was actual halftime entertainment - i enjoyed the show

Awesome!
Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!
If all the problems are obvious fixes, this administration is slower than hell as it's been glaring all season and they only take steps with two weeks left?
That's Wu doing his thing... He practices that daily just to please the crowd. Marketing has nothing to do with Wu playing around with a half-court shot. He decided to start that himself.
