I have worse memories of our last trip to the Orlando tournament, but that won't stop me from being excited about playing there in the solid field in the future. My wife REALLY wants to go to Disney World someday, and I hope I can make it work when the Shockers are playing there. Maybe about 6-8 years from now when my kids would be old enough to enjoy and appreciate the Disney experience.

Thanks. As far as joining Shockernet, I actually had an account on here during the 14-15 season and then took a break. Decided to start posting again but couldn't remember the password or email address for that account so I started a new one.

Saw where a site called Blogging the Bracket added the tournament to it's list of 2021-22 tournaments based on the article in the Eagle. The page is at https://www.bloggingthebracket.com/2...on-tournaments and lists a lot of other tournaments going on around the same time. Looks like Houston will be in the Maui Invitational and Cincinnati will be in one in KC.

FYI - for the gamblers out there, saw on KAKE the other night a casino just south of the former greyhound park by Park City has a grand opening on March 2 - https://www.crosswindscasino.com/

Looks like the main site for the event is down for maintenance, so maybe they're updating things. Looks like a CBS affiliate in Vegas mentioned the tournament and UNLV - https://www.8newsnow.com/sports/unlv...d-in-november/ - but they have that the tournament will happen at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, which is the arena inside the MGM Grand itself, instead of the T-Mobile Arena:

UNLV basketball will have the opportunity to measure itself against some of the top basketball programs in the country in November. Wichita St., Arizona and Michigan will join the Rebels in the 4-team tournament to be played at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Maybe things will be straightened out once the main site is back up.

Short flight for me. Might have to hop on over to LV for this one.

I'm starting to think this tournament may not take place. No schools have ever said anything about it, the organizers have taken down the web site, T-Mobile Arena doesn't list it, and the VegasMainEvent twitter account last Friday started promoting a game between Duke and Gonzaga on the Friday after Thanksgiving instead:

Of course, things could change, but I'm not sure I would be making any plans to go to Vegas just yet.

I guess I should have waited a day or two before I posted it may not happen :) Good to see they have the site back up and running and WSU announced it. Tickets go on sale on the 15th, but it looks like there's going to be a "School Presale" on the 12th from looking at the tickets web site. Not sure what that means exactly, maybe season ticket holders will get a code to use.
