I'm not so sure he's not making his case for MVC POY. If we win the conference outright, why not? Is there anyone in the league you'd rather have on your team, or build your team around? I know McDermott is good, maybe all American, but he's not as dominant as Garrett.

3G apologized tonight on his radio show for Garrett not being recognized during the INS game for scoring his 1,000th point.

Garrett will be recognized for his accomplishment prior to the UNI game on Wednesday.

Took a little shot at the MVC for taking this long into the season for one of the 1st place teams to have a player selected as the POW.

I will be absolutely thrilled if either Garrett or any of his teammates would win a second consective Player of the Week award next Monday.

Figured this was as good a place as any, since it pertains to Stutz's awesomeness- he is one of only two 7-footers in the country shooting better than 80% from the FT line, and oddly enough, the other one is Withey.

Withety's 86.7% (59-68) is pretty impressive considering he was 51.5% (17-33) last year. OTOH, Garrett's 82.5% (80-97) is pretty strong and based on 29 more attempts that Withey has taken this year.
