Tulsa sits at #108. If they continue to win, WSU victory could be a top 100 win. Also, Drake, Ill State and Indiana State all have a chance to become top 100 wins. (which works well for CU too as does Tulsa.) Nebraska sits at #109.
CU has two great wins, three good wins and no bad losses. Great wins are WSU #27 and SDSU #20. Good wins are Northwestern #37, UNI #51, and MSU #81.
CU's strength of schedule is 89 while WSU's is 71.
These are fairly close resumes but CU does have the advantage with the resume.
I think when you look at game statistics, the way KenPom does, WSU has the edge. I believe some of that comes into play too.
Ken Pom has WSU #16 and CU #25.

I don't think a road loss to a team with an RPI better than 150 will be considered bad.

And I would love to see what Damian Lillard could do against KU.

I could be wrong, and it would hardly be the first time, but as much as Creighton fans dislike WSU, I would still think locals would be solidly behind the Shocks in that potential 2nd round matchup.
For sure, there would be a ton of beakers there.

CBS has new bracket out and Shox a 7 seed playing New Mexico as well in this one. Not in Omaha or having a possible second round matchup with KU. Creighton is a 5 seed playing Miami in Portland with a possible second round matchup with St. Mary's.

As of today CU has a resume that is almost identical to WSU. Only difference is they are 4-2 vs top 50 rpi, and we are 3-3. Of course that will change Saturday...βLet your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.β
