    Newman would love you.
Newman does love me, thank you for noticing that.
Negative Nancy University loves you too!

It totally sucks the life out of the game and atmosphere!
When is the most recent time during a timeout the cheerleaders have tried to involve the crowd in anything resembling a cheer?

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I signed the petition just because I feel like it has all resulted in the "lack of crowd noise" that people have also been complaining about. Just trying to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Also, I feel like you should be at least 18 years of age or older to sign up for this site, because there appears to be children on here.

I'm not stupid. Go ahead and play the "it was a generalization card." I don't think you'd call anyone else childish except for me.
Me. I've been childish and typed without thinking.

Not sure what I was smoking when I was 14 but I missed the re-branding to Washington State Fieldhouse.

Also Charles Koch did not contribute $25 milllion. I think his contribution was $8 million which on a relative basis was much less painful to him then my contribution of .01% of the total was to me.

It was $6 million. He is worth $25 Billion. His Brother David has given at least $100 million to M.I.T.

Maybe only a "nice" review. While the reviewer gives the roundhouse a lot of kudos, his ratings aren't stellar. All of his ratings for the arena are between 2 and 4. The rating system is 0 to 5, so 2 to 4 ratings with an overall rating of 3.3 is really just slightly above average.

He uses the term "mid-major" a lot. So I think he was expecting a UMKC type of atmosphere and found something more like a high major.

Some of his comments were pretty good though like comparing the Koch to an ACC type atmosphere in its heydey. And saying our student section was one of the best.

Trop, perhaps you should look around the site at other venues before posting this as a nice review.

These are the first 5 I thought of (keep in mind, Koch got an overall score of 3.3):

                            Phog Allen - 4.6
                            Bramlage - 4.1
                            CenturyLink (CU) - 4.4
                            McLeod (UNI) - 4.1
                            JQH Arena (MSU) - 4.0

It was more his comments than his ratings. He said some pretty stellar things about the Koch but then he gave the Koch pretty average ratings.

If these ratings really do reflect how the Koch experience compares to places like JQH and McLeod then we are having even a bigger atmosphere problem than we all thought.
