I enjoy me some negativity. I don't enjoy reading about the same problem in multiple threads for an entire season, no matter how bad it is. Just a personal preference of mine. I'm not going to hinder the poopoo parties people like to have, just felt like needing to air my sadness about the constant complaints about the entertainment and production at games.

If you guys really want to make a difference, do like people against SOPA, PIPA, or the people who are for legalizing online gambling. Someone needs to write a form letter, that all you have to do is change the person who is sending it, and email it directly to Eric Sexton, the marketing department, Marshall's secretary, every single person who could possibly change something.

P.S. if someone does want to write a form letter, please let it be someone who has a grasp of writing a professional letter, and it not be like some of the childish rants that go on here that just berate the AD.

The reason it is repeated ad nauseum on here is because it happens ad nauseum at the games each and every night. Don't get mad at me for the piss poor product that is constantly being put out. Don't get mad at me that I'm berating the person in charge of the amateur operations and steady decline in professionalism at WSU basketball games.

This idea is a good one to get the ball rolling. Something needs to happen. Anybody tired of hearing about it can either ignore it and pretend like nothing's wrong or actually do something about it. I would hope most choose the latter.

As Sub said, you can't really enjoy the game when everything surrounding it is so bad and garbage-filled.

Every single person who's written some ridiculous rant about all the problems of the gametime performance without pausing for 2 seconds, breathing, and then rewriting their response.

I had no specific person in mind when I wrote that last sentence.

I wonder what it would be like to live a day in your shoes, and think that the universe revolved around myself.

My point is this: they can be less intrusive.

• Having the PA announcer yell out a sponsor's name when the crowd is cheering for a three point shot is a buzz kill and comes off as mickey mouse
• Stopping a crowd from cheering for their team to watch a 2 minute long video for the 20th time is hard to justify
• Interrupting the low brass cheer for an advertisement from noodles in a "must win" game is troubling

Anyhow - 3 others have "signed" the petition. Too few to matter at this point, but maybe the ball will get rolling. As Kai pointed out earlier there are others who would be more qualified who may have more success.

I just think that if the problem is there for so many fans, that it takes away from the experience you have at a game, or you think it hinders the actual team's performance (all of which I agree with by the way) that the best way is to write a letter, and have that be the thing you send out to as many administrators within the Athletic Department and University that you can. Paper copies mailed via snail mail, e-mails, phone calls, etc. If enough people's lives are hindered enough (for example getting 100 emails in your inbox will throw your day off) things might actually change.

Someone needs to lead the charge, and organize it though. Exactly what you're doing proshox.

The time has passed that just complaining about the problems on this forum will do anything. It needs to move forward if people truly feel strongly enough about this.

You must have already jaded yourself. The WSU administration thanks you for accepting a less than adequate level of production at a WSU basketball game. No one is asking for a world class, state of the art production, but just something adequate. Your standards for college basketball are quite low.
