St. Louis matchups

Given that 3-8 in the standings are only one game apart, we could face almost anyone in the first two rounds of St. Louis. So I have a couple of questions for the board:

Which two teams do you think give us the hardest matchup?

Which two teams, other than SIU and Bradley, would you like to draw (for a better matchup, not because you would enjoy WSU beating them)?

Be careful what you "wish" for......beat Indiana State. Win the Valley.


That being said, my personal belief is we match up well with UNI and UE although those are probably the 2 most dangerous coaches. Drake, Illinois State, Missouri State and Indiana State all have enough athletes to cause problems. I'd most like to stay away from Missouri State and Illinois State...but that's just me.

I don't want to play any of them. We simply don't do well in Stl. Until we exercise the poltergeist, it just doesn't matter. We have a team that should play on Sunday. After that, whatever.

I agree. We have NEVER won the tournament at the Lou. I would rather win everything between now and then, so I don't have to worry about how we do in the Lou.

And maybe our team would relax too and actually win Arch Madness, once it doesn't matter anymore.

Marshall has raised the stakes every single year he has been here so far. He has increased the number of games won each year, taken us to the MVC tourney final (never done before), won an NIT championship (never done before).

This year: Tourney champions + NCAA boot scootin'.

I know winning the MVC tourny is important to get in to the NCAA tourny, but even if we are guaranteed an at large, I still want to win the damn thing. It's been so long, and it would make the trip even that more fun. I can't wait.
