With all the S**T this University has faced the last 12 months......having the spotlight cast upon the men''s basketball program in such an unflattering light....knowing the turmoill within this program and the turnover of personnel and players....with the rancor being spat out of the mouths of media and our own SN posters....I have never been more proud of the guys who have stuck it out and busted their asses to get back on top!
A job WELL DONE!!! I will enjoy this! Even if its only until 8:15 or 9:15 Cental daylight time Wednesday when we may quite possibly no longer be in first place....THANK YOU (players and coaches) for sticking it out, and perservering through a sea of S**T that I would rather not think about!
The Wichita State Shockers are (AGAIN) leading their conference in the standings....and it feels AWESOME!!!
For the next (almost) 3 days it will be glorious, and I hope the team basks in the reward (though it be temporary) of their accomplishment. I don't know if it will happen again this season.....so I will offer two words uttered as only Joe Gatto can....
