The Shockers shot 48% and held the visiting Rebels to 30.8% from the field, including 4-of-18 from three... WSU held a relatively slim advantage in turnovers (committing 12 to Ole Miss' 14) but outscored the Rebels 20-1 off of those turnovers.. The Shockers held Ole Miss without a bucket for over eight minutes and built 29-15 lead with less than 5:00 to go in the period. They led by 15 at the break and grew the margin to 61-39 by the 12:00-mark of the second half.
