  • Wichita State Mock Uniforms

This probably could have gone in another thread, but that one has gone on far too long and also I am an attention whore (not the regular type, mind you).

A lot of people don't like the new uniforms. I do, but still, it got me thinking. So I opened up photoshop and went to work. It's super sloppy; most DEFINITELY not my best work, but you get the idea. Watermarks are so cool. Hope you all get a little kick out of them.

I'm digging the hologram backs, similar to the UNC ones. Very nice.

Beautiful. Much better than grey. It may violate the NCAA uniform rules, but send it to 3G anyway.
"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

The NCAA won't care about that. We'll just tell 'em we're KU or Kentucky.

Ha! I'm difficult to offend, easy to entertain. No worries. :)

Sorry, but all the Ed Hardy, Affliction, or Tap-Out **** has ruined any 'graphic' influence for me in any apparel.

              EDIT: Seriously? C r a p is forbidden? Criminy.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

You can't judge a book by it's cover, but you can judge a toolbag by his Ed Hardy shirt.

Seriously, though, please don't ever compare any of my creations to Ed Hardy, Tapout or Affliction. That's one thing that WILL offend me.

                Only kidding!

Not bad at all. If the watermark was less "busy" (like maybe just the textured surface of a basketball with the WSU logo), I'd like it better.

If you're up to experimenting with your design, here are a few suggestions:

                  - Try a less busy watermark.
                  - Remove the gradient in the lettering. Make the letters all black and the numbers all gray.
                  - Add some black or gray accents to the sides.

Alright, yeah. Maybe sometime I'll whip up some new ones for you guys to oogle at.

Although, I really liked the gradient. :(

yeah the fading numbers/lettering HAS to go.

Also remove the black shoulder pads. I dont understand why Nike ever thought that was a good look.
If we ever went sweatback "which the Nike uniforms are commonly known as with the graphic on the back" Id love to see the Keeper of the Plains involved somehow.
