Trevin Wade has only been back for 2 weeks after being out for 24 days. Did I hear that correctly?

2. Yes, Jackson is going to play
3. Lil Wade played well especially disrupting their offensive flow
4. Watching MU is painful most of the time
5. Our bigs don't block out and don't defend the low post very well
6. Great start for AG
7. Need more out of DD and big Wade. Thought DD looked uninspired
8. Sure hope JB can give us some low post D
9. Only 7 team TO's three by MU so the guards took care of the ball well

Whew, thank god that didn’t end up like LA Tech. It feels good to watch a Shocker win, especially in the most bizarre circumstances.

Alterique - it’s nice to have a shot creator again. He wasn’t perfect by any stretch, but I was relieved to see a guy in black and yellow who could break down defenders off the dribble. Gotta play a little smarter, but pretty impressed overall.

Tyson - I’m sure glad that dude has the stones to shoot the ball literally wherever and whenever. Obviously a couple (the 40 footer) are gonna be ones he wants back, but if he’s got his feet set and he’s on balance I feel pretty confident it’ll hit the bottom of the net.

Dex - seemed like a shell of himself. Hopefully he can knock down some open 3s and get some transition dunks to get himself going cause we’ll need him. Came up with a very significant offensive rebound at the end there.

Mo - lot of good, lot of bad. Please never shoot another 3. Ever. Please god. Ooth, he had some good moves in the post but also forced things far too often. KEEP THE BALL HIGH AND UNDER YOUR CHIN.

Jackson - loved the energy he played with. He’s a difference maker and the type of player that has defined Shocker basketball over the years. Little sped up here and there, but that’s probably to be expected in your first D1 game.

Poor Bear - an impressive first half, but what happened to him? I probably missed a previous post or something, but couldn’t even find him on the bench in second half. Hope he gets back.

Big Wade - looked the same as last year. Some good moments, some missed plays. We need him to just be consistently solid and mistake free. Rebound like Jackson does.

Lil Wade - another pesty defender and ran the PG well when he was in for Alterique. Clutch 3 late in 2nd half, and smart shot fake to draw a foul at the end of shot clock. We needed an on ball defender like him to disrupt the other team’s offensive flow.

If so... I'm more impressed with him. He honestly didn't look out of place at all. Couple rough shots but other than that really good decision making and lots of effort from start to finish

These guys overcame a lot in this one. No 5-on-5 practice. Guys playing out of position. First-time head coach. Weird environment for the returners. 9-point second half deficit. Big-time comeback with clutch contributions from the newcomers. Good stuff that we can build on.

Missouri will be tough but it will tell us a lot about where we're at. Our bigs aren't big. Hopefully JB will be back soon. He has the size and athleticism to influence shots inside.

I think this is impossible to know for sure. This might be a revolving door for a good part of this season.
