Drunk or sober? Like any large group, there are highs and lows. Some of them know their hoops, no doubt. Some of them are quite emotional, but that's what fans are. I would take it for what it is, a place to have fun, gripe and celebrate.

Paul gives a great reply. Sports are just entertainment (and therapy). WSU winning will not cure cancer or heart disease, balance the national budget, fix global warming, eliminate poverty, eliminate crime, etc. Sports are not really that important!! Enjoy the Shocks, support the young men and women who represent our university, etc. but also have a life outside sports and enjoy your family, your work, your friends, etc. (Feel free to label me as "Captain Obvious" if you wish but I think some people here take sports far too seriously.)Originally posted by shockballSome posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
