  • St. Louis Tix

Hey Fellas (and ladies, I suppose)

I was sleep walking when we were supposed to get tickets for St. Louis. We have been many times, but have always bought the all session tickets. What is your opinion on buying tickets at the event or off the street from the fine gents on the corner? Just doing some damage control.

    Thanks for the help.

I am going to buy tix on the corner this year from the gents. Last year I had all session passes, and my wife and daughter cherry picked games they wanted to see and it was so easy to get tix it was rediculous. We even sat together in the Shox section with no problem. The other reason is we usually miss the Thursday night games anyway so those are a waste of money.

Lastly when you buy tix from the gents all you need to do is say what section you want in...ie Shox section ....and somehow the have them no problem.
Don't sweat the petty things .....and.....don't pet the sweaty things.

What should you expect to pay the gents? Face value, premium or discount?

Discount, definitely. I have purchased off the street more often that I have through the ticket office. I have never paid face value. If the first guy you run into won't budge off of face value, then move on to the next one. Just don't buy tickets that are printed off on regular paper - only buy those on the heavier stock. The paper tickets are too easy to copy and the others too expensive to copy and make money.

Anybody have a link to the schedule for the tourney? I'm just wondering when the first game is on Friday and when the championship game is Sunday thinking about travel plans.

Couldn't find a schedule for this year, but here is last year's bracket. http://www.mvc.org/mbb/mbb_bracket.pdf

I'm pretty sure that's been the same format for the past couple of years.

If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .
