Looks like a great move no matter how you cut it. Should work wonderfully well for both our coaches and our players.

In case anyone is interested, Taylor Eldridge put in an open records request for Billy Kennedy's contract and it can be found at https://openrecords.wichita.edu/view...og/entry/1098/ Contract runs from November 22, 2020, to June 12, 2021, and he'll be paid $6,896.55 every two weeks.

Works out to just under $100K for the duration of the contract. That's a steal for someone with his background and experience.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

That's what i was thinking ..... dude was the head coach for 2 sweet 16 teams ... and those teams weren't like in the 90s .. they were both within the last 5-6 years.

I think so. There aren't any requests for their contracts for 20-21, but this link has them for 19-20 - https://openrecords.wichita.edu/view...log/entry/820/ - and the assistant coaches contracts that year went from June 17, 2019, to June 15, 2020. So I imagine they all expire on June 12, 2021.

FWIW, here are the amounts for the assistants back in 19-20 (salary was spread over 26 bi-weekly payments):

                              Brown - $210,000
                              Gudino - $230,000
                              Waterman - $177,000
