  • Odum is a mouth-breather and I'm glad he doesn't play for us.

I am done expecting Garrett to play like a man. When it happens, I'll enjoy it. I get too worked up when I expect him to box out and be strong with the ball.

    • ESPN gave the player of the game to Toure, but I think I would probably have to go with Ben due to the hugeness of his clutchness late. Without that the game could have gone either way.

Edit: Glad to see that Mike and Bob agreed.

I haven't finished reading this thread, but that gave me a good chuckle!

        • Shockers earn still another road win. Yes we were outrebounded the first time this Season and it was by 6. With Hall and Stutz getting touch fouls on them called, it kept the trees with hope. Man, did you see them hanging on Hall and Stutz and that was okay? WOW!!! 50% from the 3 point line tonight? So much for my pregame strategizing. YIKES. We made the throws and did only had around 11 turnovers. Kyles was huge on big shots the 1st half and Ben did the same. Toure' 16 points, and 9 bounds, Nice win Shoxs!!!!!!! Jake and EO came in deep from the bench and gave us some nice support.

Different ways to contribute. Most everyone had some sort of problem tonight, however, everyone also contributed to the win. In 20 minutes, Garrett had 11 rebounds and 8 points (6-6 FT).

            • Welcome to 2012 Ben Smith. Timely, timely, timely.
              Solid effort by all.
Jake made a contribution the first half and yes, EO is an asset to this team.
Somebody send some ice up to Joe's room so he can put it on that toe.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

                  • I will rest well this night. A big road obstacle handled. The bottle of Pino Noir I sipped during the game didn't hurt! Sure glad the doc made that recommendation of one red wine a night. Glass...Bottle.....whatever! Well played Shocks.

Hard to know how the game would have gone without DK's flurry at the end of the 1st half as well. He had 16 points for the game.

                      • How about EO in the span of about 20 seconds gets a block, a defensive force out of bounds, a rebound and a bucket!? God help the Valley if he starts getting it like this on a regular basis.

Yes, DK's flurry was just about as impressive but I give the edge to Ben because the game was on the line at that point and the pressure was much greater.

All the guys who played tonight made some positive contributions.
