  • If WSU lost at home by 35 pts...

While watching Texas Tech get drubbed at home last week by KU, by 35 points, I explained to other people in the room that my team doesn't ever lose at home by 35 points and that I am thankful for that. They may of lost at home by 35 in the dirty 90's... My question is, if WSU were ever to be that awful, what would attendance be like? I'm going to assume not good. How long would the WSU coach last? My assumption is not very long at all. Could they even use losing to the KU and UK's of the world as excuse?

I wouldn't get to arrogant. WSU has been there (in the Abyss). Be thankful for Turgeon and Marshall, and be praying that if Marshall ever leaves, God gives Sexton plenty of Wisdom - WSU is only one bad coaching hire from being back there.

    WSU lost to KU 93-66
WSU lost to Austin Peay 81-55
    WSU lost to ISUR 78-57
    WSU lost to Tulsa 89-52
    WSU lost to SIU 94-59

    some notable away games

WSU lost to KU at KU 103-54
    WSU lost to Evansville 84-58

these all happened in the lost decade - look to the Cohen/Thompson/Smithson years for your answer and pray we never repeat them.

Speak for yourself, that game against SIU in the Kansas Colosseum wasn't too fun for me.

        Wait, I know the answer.

"If WSU lost at home by 35 pts... we would still not have a home loss like Bradley's loss to us."

        What is my prize?
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

What a silly thread and I'm kinda ashamed of myself for even responding. If WSU lost at home by 35 points, well then, they would lose at home by 35 points. It can happen to any team. All you have to have is the right set of circumstances. And if you think it can't happen, think again. In the unlikely event it should happen, then you just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back to work so it doesn't happen again.

again....if you don't like a thread, DON'T respond and it will probably die. No reason to cast aspersions.

Maybe if enough people "cast aspersions" others will think twice before starting a thread like this one.

I HATE 'THREAD POLICE'.....stupid concept. Don't like it, don't read it...simple as that.

This particular topic probably isn't rocket science, but so what?
