If 3G solves the scoring issues that plague WSU's final four of the first half I believe these second half issues will disappear. The offense becomes stagnant and it never recovers....

I rarely say much of anything on here but the students on the front row of 116 need to learn when it is appropriate to "warm up the bus." It is not when we have a 5 point lead and the opponent has the ball with 10 secs to go. That game was far from over and if he makes the 3 rd free throw, who knows what happens.

One little thing I appreciate about HCGM is generally he celebrates any win on the air right after a game. I remember Turgeon would be down in the throat quite often after a win if the margin wasn't enough or if the lead slipped some.

Obviously he will have a lot to be dissatisfied with in the second half, but I like the tone he sets after the win.

When Carl Hall is out of the game the team seems totally out of sync. I would have liked to see Carl inserted sooner, Marshall finally put him back in with 30 seconds left in the game. Ben Smith wasn't able to produce any offense from inside the arc and wasn't a threat on the offensive boards either. Stutz has to play better than he did tonight. He looked great early but was mediocre the rest of the game.

Nice to see Murry make a couple of shots down the stretch, someone had to step up and Murry got the job done.

Shockers lacked major intensity and focus in the second half at HOME. A win is a WIN and we need to put this one behind us and keep working HARD. Our next couple of games are winnable, GO SHOX!!!

We enjoyed quite a free throw advantage the 1st half. The refs also read such stats and rang us up for 3 quick fouls the 2nd half. But who cares? Suddenly, they also made some nice X and O adjustments and kept Rags from penetrating so easily. Also, when the inside was clogged up, we seemed to just rush some 3's instead of running the offense. Why not? We had a 19 point lead. But hark, that huge lead disapated to 1 point before we woke up, made some shots and made some stops on D. Wow!! We dodged the bullet late in the game despite our oodles of mental errors.
