                    I'm not a gambler, but if everything works right from the house perspective we should be .500 against the spread, no?

                      That is only 12 games. A small enough sample that you can have some weird stuff happen that doesn't agree with statistical predictions. If you flip a coin a 100 times, you will probably get close to 50/50, but take any 10 out of that 100 and you could be pretty off.

                      Sample size matters.
