I think I speak for Shocker Nation when I say listening to Mike Kennedy on TV would be awesome, even though it'll never happen.

Actually I thought Craig was a little more bearable today teamed up with Mark Ewing."Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

If you are the Voice of the Shockers you shouldn't be off doing other things on game day.
Mike Kennedy, the radio voice of the Shockers, has done over 1000 straight games on radio, he certainly didn't miss today to go to the Cotton Bowl.
In fact, I don't think that is a good excuse. Wasn't the Cotton Bowl played yesterday? I think he easily could have gotten a flight from Dallas to St. Louis late last night or early this morning and done today's game anyway.
If he is not that committed to Shocker basketball, he shouldn't be "the Tv voice of the Shockers" That is all I am saying.
I guess I am a little offended that the TV Voice of the Shockers would put ANY K-state event over a Shocker game he is suppose to be broadcasting.

Back to the game;
Ragland had a nice bounce back game. Hall was his usual self, and Stutz was very good against the athletic SIU bigs! Give credit there as he is becoming VERY difficult to stop in this conference. The offense really needs to run through Stutz every time.
Toure had his usual all-around game, but I was very disappointed that he did not feed the ball to Stutz on multiple occasions. The pass was there and he just dribbled around at the top of the key.
This was not a good match-up for Smith. The athletic bigs for SIU were too tall for him to handle.
White had some good minutes. I think there are 5 or 6 Valley teams that he would be playing 10-20 minutes a game for this year.
Very pleased with DWill the past two games. He can still be out of control some times, but over all very good. I think his emergence is the biggest reason that Cotton's time is dwindling.Livin the dream

These are the teams we just have to sweep. However, SIU will improve. The Shocks can't take a day off in this Valley Of Death and niether can the other Contenders. Stutz and Rags made some nice passes today. I don't think I will ever forget Stutz first foul today. The camera just showed him landing back hard to the floor. When they replayed it, the SIU player did not appreciate the contact and swirled GS hard to the floor and was rewarded for it. Yikes!! Life on the road is not a bowl of cherries and not for the weak-hearted, but rather can be survived by warriors and team execution.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
